May 09, 2025 Carra Webster receives Venessa Valerio Memorial Scholarship Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU) has announced this year’s recipient of the Venessa Valerio Memorial Scholarship. Carra Webster, who will be graduating from Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) with her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) this month, plans to continue working toward her BSN degree and then a DNP to become a nurse practitioner.

Held in the Center for the Arts (CFA) Atrium, the event brought together students, staff, faculty, and community members for an afternoon of inspiration, storytelling, and resource sharing. The program featured remarks from NNMC President Hector Balderas and The Honorable Laura M. Montoya, New Mexico State Treasurer.

Apr 02, 2025 100 percent of Northern's ADN 2024 Graduates Pass Nursing Licensure Exam For the second year in a row, graduates of the Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program had a 100-percent pass rate of the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) licensure exam on their first try.

Mar 11, 2025 Women's History Month Celebration 2025 Last Thursday’s Women’s History Month celebration and International Women’s Day offered inspiration and recognition for the incredible women at Northern New Mexico College. The event honored several women for their contributions and showcased powerful stories of resilience, mentorship, and achievement. The event was organized by Tammy Winston from Student Life, Khiana Valencia from CASSC, and Milam Shah from Communications. Together, they also created a Gratitude Wall—a special space where students, faculty, and staff could honor the women who have inspired them.
